I can feel something, maybe lymph nodes?

Hi
I’m wondering if anyone has had similar?
I was diagnosed in October 2020 with triple negative breast cancer had WLE and re excision due to margins, chemotherapy and then radiotherapy. no lymph node involvement all went well and i’ve been doing ok. Now i have felt a couple of lumps in the other breast on the upper quadrant more in the chest towards underarm area if this makes sense i feel like these are lymph nodes?
Now i know i can just go back to breast clinic however i have PTSD as i’ve been back twice with lumps in the original breast and more or less got told off as they are scar tissue related but how are you even meant to know!!! as the breast has changed massively in the last. 3 years.
i’m just wondering if anyone else has had this as i’m trying not to panic and have more of a watch and just wait attitude but my original breast cancer was measured at 14mm post WLE but measured 32mm on removal
Any help appreciated even if it’s just a kick
thanks

I’m really sorry but I do think you need to get these checked out. They may not be anything to worry about but particularly as it’s a new thing and can’t be related to your surgery or radio as that was on the opposite side I think they will want to see you. Xx

Hi, I’d get checked out too, tough if we make a nuisance of ourselves, we’re bound to feel paranoid about every change we feel, and better to be safe than sorry. It’s awful having cancer in the first place, and we all have to live with the fear of it returning. I’m anxious all the time & am not sure what is normal around my scar yet either. My lump increased from 16mm to 31mm in the month before my surgery too, so if you feel anything that’s worrying get checked. Hope everything is OK.

Please get this checked out
Majority of lumps are benign but due to your history they need to be checked. Wishimg you the best of luck xx

ekb2013 definitely go back. Don’t be put off by some ‘jobsworth’ who made you feel like you were wasting their time. The vast majority of staff would never be like this. It’s your body and after what you’ve already been through it’s completely understandable that you have concerns that need addressing. Best of luck to you.

Thanks everyone. It’s a bank holiday weekend but i’ll give the BC nurse a call next week and speak to her.

I think we’ve all had that experience at one time or another where we have had the definite impression that they’re exasperated with us and that we are a nuisance - whether related to BC or something else . You’re not alone in this so take courage - I’m going to chase up my retinal scan which was done in December and still not reported on and I have some new floaters which are worrying me as they are in my good eye ( and I don’t want to end up with 2 bad ones ) xx
