So, I don’t know what to think. Saw my onc today after having a PET scan on Monday. He said the results were complicated. Some cancer has shrunk, some have stayed the same & some are more active but no spread. Overall he’s happy & isn’t go to change my treatment (Capecitabine & Lapatinib). He said if I had, had a CT scan it would have come back stable. He said I wasn’t to worry !!!

It’s very hard when you aren’t quite clear what’s being said. Maybe write some questions for next time? It seems complicated x
Hi Pebbles, I have great trust in my Onco, and if he told me not to worry then I wouldn’t. Perhaps your concerns are because there is a lack of clarity? If you have questions then ring him. Don’t lose any sleep over what, on the surface, looks good news. X
