I have been on Ibandronate for three months now and gradually itching has increased to the stage that I am now making my ankles bleed. It is driving me crackers. Anyone suffering the same, and any ideas to relieve it?
I am on Bondronat which is an oral form of Ibandronic acid - is that the same as Ibandronate? I have no itching symptoms at all but if your side effects are as dramatic as they seem to be, I wouldn’t hestitate to speak to your prescriber as soon as possible - that sort of itch doesn’t sound like you’re tolerating it well and they may be able to make recommendations.
