I finished all my treatment in July and am cancer free… However ts been suggested to me to take ibandronic acid. Im interested in hearing other people’s experience with this. I understand it has a low percentage of actually having good results and come with a lot of side effects so im wondering if its worth it.

Hi, I don’t get many side effects from ibandronic acid, I’ve been taking it over a year now along with letrozole, which I do get plenty joint pain with. It a bit of a pain having to take it first thing in the morning with water, the first thing I want is a cup of tea ! You have to wait about 20 minutes before having anything else and don’t bend over or lie down after taking it or you’ll get horrible acid reflux. It’s a good drug for protecting your bones from osteoporosis. Xxx
