Hi, I read that you’re not supposed to take ibuprofen with Palbociclib. What’s the reason for this, does it decrease its effectiveness??
Thanks in advance

Hi nobodywantsthis
Thanks for posting.
There are many different reasons why certain drugs interact with each other. The patient information doesn’t suggest any interaction, however as Palbociclib is a specialised medication used by your treatment team, it would be best to check with them or the pharmacist on the safety of taking it alongside ibuprofen.
