I sent my blood off last week.

3,000 women who have had a DCIS are being screened against 3,000 who haven’t.
I’ve sent off a blood sample and questionnaire and recruited a friend to parcipate in the control group.
I must have ticked a box somewhere to say I’d be prepared to take part in research.

Thanks for that. I did have DCIS in 2005 but since then I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in December (a new cancer), so I’m guessing I wouldn’t be suitable.
