icon magazine /cancer options

Hi there , picked up a copy of the Icon magazine whilst at a meeting of my seca group.
There were some integrated cancer treatment centres listed, offering various diet, alternative treatments , targeted therapy etc. has anybody tried any of these and with what level of success? I spoke to a lady at Canceroptions who offer a telephone consultation for £150. Any ideas would be welcome

Hi

I spoke with patricia peat at canceroptions couple years ago now, she was lovely and gave some good advice, but i have not carried out anythin that she suggested! but that was just me being too busy to follow up with anythin - but there may be a point i may contact her again. i only paid £40 for 30 min consultation but that was sometime ago now. she is good in the sense that she is a qualified somethin (not sure what she is) and she does the research and generally knows about up to date stuff which helps rahter than an individual trapsing researchin themselves. but as i said i didn follow up anything altho in hindsight perhaps i shouldv but was too busy living my life to look further into what she was recommending! but perhaps i shouldv taken note of her advice as iv had further progression and now on the chemo rollercoaster.

i do stay in contact with dr rosy daniels in bath, every few months i call her for a telephone appointment to update her,as i saw her in nov 07 when i had prgression to both lungs and spine, i take her supplements made up by her (see healthcreations) which are great and i dont think id be were i am today if i hadn as they make me feel so well and give me good energy, also have a generally vegan alkaline diet altho ive started havin tomatoes occasionally and the cherries out at hte moment are amazing!!and i also did take carctol prescribed from her, until my latest dx in april where its now in my liver and so i stopped carctol as the thought was its stoppd working.
