HI, I had stage 3 Breast Cancer 1997 no positive lymph nodes and had mastectomy, radiotheray and chemo. Im BRACA 1 positive. I saw a breast surgeon today with an enlarged axillary lymph node. I had ultrasound and told there was a lot of vascular activity in the said node. When I asked what this meant the person doing the scan suddenly got all vague about it all as did the surgeon when I asked her. Im wondering if anyone has any views or had simiar findings with a malignant lymph node. I know I have to wait for the results but just trying to prepare myself and the waiting is sooo hard.
