As expected my recent CT scan confirmed that my health has slightly deteriorated with two additional hot spots appearing in my lung and the lymph gland on my neck increasing from 1 to 1.3.cm in 3 months.
Am having Everolimus added to the Exemestane I am already taking plus the Denosumab injections are continuing.
Have now got my blue disabled parking badge, arranging for refuse to be collected from side/back of house instead of kerbside and have made an application for Personal Independence Payment; rather have my breathing improve though.
Best wishes to you all
Jan
Jan so sorry to hear you have progression, hopefully e/e will work well for you and the se’s are not too bad. A lot of the ladies have had really good results on it, sadly it did work well on my bone mets but my leysions in the liver got bigger so I am now on capecitabine. keeping fingers crossed this is working, won’t get a scan until afer third cycle so will just keep popping the pills.
You seem to have got yourself organised on the help front. I could not manage without my blue badge, it is a godsend on the days my mobility is not good, and I also have a motabilty car.
Good luck with your PIP application.
Hope your breathing improves.
