hi everyone, i am 29 years old and i am scared, for the last 1.5 years my nipple has been leaking yellow and blood stained discharge, i recently went to my docters where they found a lump and noticed that my nipple was a lot lower and inverted, she has refered me to the breast clinic where i have to have a biopsy, i have 5 children and i feel scared and very alone. i no i not alone but i reallydon’t nohow i feel so i am hoping i can join you and feel better andnot alone.

So sorry you have had to find yourself here…your story sounds almost identical to mine…i had been hounding the medical profession for 18 months with very similar symptoms…im all sorted now…hopefully you will be hepled really quickly now!!! It is very scary tho not knowing what is wrong i remember that feeling very well.
The waiting for the tests and then the results is the worst part…you will find massive support from this site…there is also another site called bcpals which i have found tremendously suppportive.
Do you have friends and family who you can talk to and help you with the kiddies whilst you have your biopsy?
Please no longer feel alone everyone on this site is here for you…
Im 37 and have 2 children aged 2 and 4…and have had to ask friends and family for help sometimes…

thankyou for your comments they help. i do have family but they never seem to worry about me as i always just get on with things.

Hi Northy

I know what you mean. I have had set backs in my life, and always seem to cope. I think that my family feel that I can tackle this one on my own, so I have had very little support. My advice to you, for what it’s worth, is to tell your family that you will need help and support from them. I hope you have good results.

Have just read your post I really know what you mean you must be scared. I also found it difficult to ask for extra help but found people willing as it gives them something helpful to do .Will you have someone to go to your biopsy appointment with you?

I really hope you get the help you need at this worrying time , you will find lots of support here and answers to any questions too.
