Hi I’m new here. Diagnosed with DCIS In June 2022, which turned out to be Triple Negative BC. I had a mastectomy with direct implant in July 2022, and started six sessions of EC-T in October. I’m coping ok with the chemo and my second treatment is due soon, but finding recently my breast implant feels quite firm and uncomfortable and I’m aware of it all the time which I wasn’t before. I’m wondering could this be the beginning of capsular contracture?
Welcome to the forum. Sorry you are having concerns about your implant . Sounds like it needs checking out , do you have an Oncology nurse of BC nurse you can contact and ask if you can be examined ?
