I had a mx and LD flap in February and was told I could have an implant after completion of the rads.
Saw my breast surgeon yesterday and he told me that I can proceed with the implant but because the radiotherapy will have damaged blood vessels it couold well cause problems with healing and i am far more likely to have capsular problems also.
Has anyone else had a succesful implant following radiotherapy.
