After a bilateral mastectomy in Oct 24, with immediate diep - one side failed and I was fitted with an expander in that side.
I have seen my plastic surgeon today and I feel I am to choose btwn swapping both breasts to implants (so the tissue in the diep side would come out too) or replacing my expander with fat transfer giving a more natural breast much like the diep side.
Can anyone offer advice or guidance, had anyone had a similar choice to make? Thank you for taking the time to read.
