Indent on Breast

Hello guys! Joined this forum hoping to get some reassurance and advice on what I should do.

For some background information, I am 20 years old. A couple of months ago I noticed an indent on my left breast. It’s on the outside of my breast near the fold between my breast and arm. However, it is only noticeable when I am relaxed and when my arm is down at my side. When I raise my arm it completely disappears, or when I stretch my skin it disappears. I showed my mom who agreed it resembled cellulite, and we went to my OB. She had me lay down on the bed to do the exam, and told me she couldn’t see or feel anything. She told me it was just a stretch mark, even though I am completely certain it is not. She didn’t give an ultrasound or mamo. This was in march, and I am still scared that she fobbed me off. My mom insists I take her word as reassurance, but I am not okay. I was wondering if any of you guys had a similar experience and could give any advice? Is it a good sign that my dent disappears when I raise my arm? Crazy worried and stressed, and my family thinks I am a crazy hypochondriac!

Hi welcome to the forum. The vast majority of breast changes are not cancer and it would be very unusual for you to have breast cancer at your age . However if this indent is causing you so much anxiety and you think an ultrasound would re-assure you can you not push for one or maybe ask for a second opinion to give you peace of mind ?Maybe explain to the doctor how this is making you feel ?
