Moving this thread from elsewhere to see if anyone out there has had experience of infection post-surgery.
I had WLE & SNB nearly 3 weeks ago and have had repeated seromes which have been drained 3 times (750ml in total!) - last 2 have been infected and now on antibiotics & feeling better in myself. The infection has meant postponing chemo due to start tomorrow, rescheduled for next week. I am anxious about starting chemo with a recent infection because of the consequences when my immunity drops.
Has anyone out there had a similar experience, and if so how did the infection develop after chemo?

I had wound infection from my MX which delayed my Chemo for quite a while. I would assume that as with all sessions of Chemo you will be given a blood test first and they won’t give you the chemo unless your bloods are alright.
I’m not sure if that has answered your question really.
