Anyone here diagnosed with infiltrating lobular carcinoma recently ?
I was diagnosed on 17th October stage 2. I have a little girl who is 22 months and I just want to fight this cancer and live for her.
I have been advised a mastectomy on the affected breast but surgery date is pending as all plastic surgeons seem to be fully booked.
Anyone had this type and stage and how long after diagnosis did you have surgery? I m so scared of it spreading out of the breast. I m also type 2 diabetic so scared of recovery of mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.
