Hi
I just got diagnosed on Wednesday, I am having an mri scan on Tuesday. I’ve been told I will start. With chemo followed by masetomy. Yesterday I felt quiet positive but today I woke up and keep crying. Any advice thanks
Nicola
Hello and welcome to the forum where you will get lots of support from the wonderful ladies on here who know exactly what you are feeling and going through.
It is quite natural to have a wobbly time, once you have your treatment plan in place, honestly it does get better because you know what is going to happen and when.
Treatment for bc is very good these days and as you will see there are many of us who have gone through treatment and life has got back to normal again, albeit it a new sort of normal having been diagnosed, but we are there and you will get there.
Keep coming on here and we will support you however we can, this is a place where you can feel comfortable in saying how you are feeling without fear of upsetting those close to you.

Thank you so much
Here is the international standard of care for IBC.
Make sure you are getting this if you have an IBC diagnosis: jcancer.org/v09p1437.htm
Hi Nicola
Have just come across your post. I was diagnosed with IBC in Fevruary, have had 6 sessins of chemo and am down to have surgery on the 26th July, mastectomy with skin graft.
I totally understand how you are feeling, it is such a crap diagnosis, i have been up and down since my diagnosis, and still not sure how I feel.
How are you getting on with your treatment?
