Hello,
There are many reports that show the effectiveness of Vitamin C before or after chemotherapy.
Our doctor recommened to our aunt to start the treatment immediately… the problem is that we can’t find where to buy Vitamin C IV so that the doctor can start administration.
Maybe someone can guide us where to buy Vitamin C IV
All messages will be appreciated…
Hi,
Spotted your post…one thing your aunt might want to discuss with the doctor who suggested this and perhaps her oncologist, too much vitamin C can cause a number of side effects, and while some of these are related to digestion (and clearly you are asking about intravenous), there also appear to be side affects of insomnia and headaches. I’ve attached a link to the Mayo website which is usually pretty reliable:
mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/vitamin-c/faq-20058030
It might also be worth phoning the Breast Cancer Care nurse to ask if they have heard of the use of vitamin C you are referring to?
Wishing your Aunt all the best with her treatment.

Hi Oscar, can I ask if you live in the uk? After checking with the nurses at Maggies centre I can tell you that they have never heard of this treatment. I’ve read IV as intravenous? Is this what you mean? It would be very difficult here in the uk to purchase IV solutions without a prescription. I think Vit C is excellent for the body in appropriate doses, especially with winter flus and colds, but there are side effects from overdosing. Sorry if I’ve misunderstood your question.
Thank you for your answers…
After many sleepless nights, we managed with the help of members of another forum specialized on alternative cancer treatments to find Vitamin C (IV) Injectable from PharmaLife Laboratories also located in Europe.
The dose will be 30 grams (3 bottles) Vitamin C per session.
We hope that this treatment will have positive results.
Update:
the treatment works and our aunt starts to feel better. we will continue the treatment until our aunt is completely healed.
