Does anyone else out there have this? have just had lumpectomy and all my nodes removed (the report says mestastic carcinoma) I have read that this is a rare type of cancer and that the prognosis is not as good!!! am very worried and have to go back for the results next wed (7th march) has anyone out there had this and has beaten it or is anyone further down the line from me? or are you in the same position as me?? would really welcome a reply!!
Hello - have just seen your post and am worried that it will ‘slip down the list’ before you get a response.
I am assuming that most people on the forums will, like me, not have heard of your condition but see from what you have written and what I have just looked up that it is indeed rare and potentially ‘a nasty’
Do ring the BCC help line - if you haven’t already done so; I am sure that they will be much better placed than most of us to offer you advice just at the moment.
Meanwhile I send you all MY good wishes - this is obviously a really difficult time for you and I know that all of us on the forums will be feeling for you - the time of diagnosis is always one of shock and distress- and many other emotions …and for a more rare condition, I imagine, doubly so. I think you will find the most info and practical support by speaking to people who have some knowledge of your BC variant - but be assured that many others will read your post and will be thinking of you and wishing you well.
