Hi all I am new here, I have had a lump since 2001 they did all test on me then including a biopsy I was told nothing to worry about it was fibro cyst. however the one that did the biopsy said " normal breast tissue" I think she didn’t get the lump. now its 2009 and the lump has gotten bigger more painful and my nipple has inverted and my aureole has change shape. I have had a new mammogram, ultrasound, and seen a surgeon which wants to do an MRI today. Now here are my worries.
My sister 2 years older than me was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with BC.
she is its call tuckdual carsnoma I can’t spell it.
I want the lump gone he did tell me that it wasn’t anything to worry about but he couldn’t tell me why my nipple was inverted or the change in the other. There hasn’t been a biopsy yet. he also said he could remove the lump but it would take 25% of my right breast. I go today for the MRI and see him again in 2 weeks. I can’t take this! Please give me some advice on how to handle this I am 41 and scared

I had the MRI done when I got there my orders were to have one without contrast. however I was told they could not do it unless i had the contrast, so they gave me a hole in my arm and off to the MRI i went.
They also told me that they could not find my recent mammograms from the 7th and I told them I had them in the car if they wanted to see them well to make a long story short by the time i got home, they lady called 2 times stating I was mistaken that I could not have the recent xrays and they were from 2000 (funny I am the one that had my boob splattered on the machine not her) so I am taking the xrays up to them tomorrow. I was wondering if I demand them to give me a copy of the MRI will they give it to me?

ok went to surgeon today, found out that I have a tumor the size is 5 cm and is 3 inches long. He is going to remove it on the 18th…
He says it isn’t cancer but will not know until a pathologist looks at it.
But he says it isn’t cancer still doesn’t make me not worry…
