The one that gets me is the one where people fade away and die. I know they want funds but lets have some positivity. The one where research has melted the tumor away. It says research is really important but doesn’t leave some of us thinking ***!!

Could agree with you more, to many adverts, just when we are feeling settled it’s so upsetting.

Hate them !!! Also hate the coverage about Kate and her "preventative ” chemo !!!
Can’t listen to any cancer charity stuff.
Generally just don’t want to hear anything else about the hateful disease

I can relate. I got off the tube a couple of weeks ago and was hounded by a guy from cancer research - he kept pushing to talk etc. I ended up saying to him “I have cancer” & it seemed to really catch him off guard. He didn’t know what to say. I got to my office & just sobbed.
