Hi Shar- I think they are going to reduce my dose too as they said nobody should have such intense pain. I do have strong painkillers, co codamol and naproxen which take the edge off but still suffering. It’s not helped by nasty ear infection which keeps me awake all night. I just keep smiling through and wait for it to subside but I wish it would hurry up.
Next meet 27th July at 12.30 at the Armoury. Would be lovely to catch up with you.

The Armoury is down by Welsh Bridge - overlooking the river on the side road that leads to the park.
Noanie - glad you’re back on line. Tax is OK - 1st time it was the steroids that did me in. They were reduced and the main se was tiredness - I had some aches and pains, but hardly any more than I get from the neulasta anyway. Will still be v glad when it’s finished.
Though I can’t make the 27th, will be at RSH on the morning of the 26th if anyone is about?
Hi Rads planning about an hour - my apt was 9.30 but was early as had to go to CDC first, so there by 9 and out by 10. they were really helpful and informative and really accomdating re appt times.

long long day, had a bad night last night, a weird burning down the middle of my body like heart burn, which i never get!!
my next appointment will be on the 4th , dont know what time yet,

I had a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from my colleagues today which really cheered me up. I’m hoping to go to sports’ day and leavers’ service this week so i can see my class before they break up. Just think-by the time they are ready to go back i will (fingers crossed) have finished chemo!
Finally feeling human today-temp down, wbc up and I feel so much better. But I never want another week like this one again!!!
Had my last chemo today, whew! Felt a bit teary when the chemo nurse left. I’ve been lucky enough to have the same one each time and she’s been lovely.
Just (?!?!) rads and tamoxifen to go - have to keep on being brave and inspirational for a bit longer! Just hoping that it won’t be long before no one can see how lovely my head is shaped.
Diane, Well done on getting to the end, you are not only inspirational,brave and have a beautifully shaped head, you are also have a postive attitude!!

Well done Diane end of chemo, i remeber it was sooo emotional when i left hospt that day, hugs and kisses etc! i will miss them, cant believe tomorrow would be chemo day so now its non chemo day as 3 weeks post last tax chemo and I too have just (!!?) rads to do starting Monday 25th, and tomorrow I am off to work! phew tired thinking of it and tired now as been to beach all day with my friend and dogs, all tht lovely sea air… Shar xx
Compared to many of you, I’ve got off really lightly with the SEs. I feel relieved that bit’s out the way, I can only imagine how much you’re all looking fwd to the end.

Have booked a table at the Armoury for next Wednesday (27th July) at 12.30pm. They were very accommodating and have put us on a table for up to 10 people, and are quite happy to accommodate more or less on the day. Menu looks good too!

Hi Diane, yeh that we great, text me when u are there, u prob may recognise me tho i prob wont be wearing Lola my wig, i will be in my bandana, either red brown black or green, just have the 4!xxxxx look forward to meeting u.not felt well today, had upset tummy and my ankles that didnt swell thru chemo steriods decided to swell up and i felt bloated, where that come from, does that mean my periods are coming back, but i never used to suffer with bloating esp around ankles!
Even worked this week sooooo liberating!!! and on Weds it was no chemo day, would have had chemo if still on it so went to work and out for meal to celebrate end chemo with fam and friends xxxxx but why the bloating and swollen ankles, gutted!!! xx
