Oh Terri I feel so guilty and would so love to meet you. Canāt do the 24th though as Iām doing race for life at Weston Park with my girls, and my family from Northumberland down for the weekend and the Monday, also most places seem to close on Mondays for some reason.
I hate being bossy too and hate getting things wrong but just went for date that seemed to suit those I have talked to at RSH.
How about Wednesday 27th July at 12.30 at the Armoury in Shrewsbury?

Feel fine this morning apart from redy brek glow! Hand is so much better. Am going into Bridgnorth with my eldest daughter who has day off from work experience. Just waiting for the tax truck to hit as Iām assured it will!!! Canāt wait

I am getting mentally prepared for TAX2 on Monday, Shrewsbury is only a train ride from me, however it is school holidays so thatās a problem as I call in babysitting favours if i am not well and with my wee man being his autistic self itās a little tricky, OH is a self employed window cleaner(fully and extensivly qualified with all aspects of HGV and plant machinery but got fed up of keeping getting made redundant, so sold everything that wasnāt nailed down and went window cleaning ) so he is having to work as and when my SEās and the weather let him so thatās a whole load of complications for me!!! I am so glad you all had a good time meeting up, itās so encouraging eh? I had to go to edinburgh this week to see my surgeon and met up with āLuluā off this site and it was great, Hope you all getting on ok and dealing with whatever side effects life is dealing you

Hand feeling much better now thank goodness. I have endless energy and have been bouncing around most of the night but trying not to wake anyone up. Have read a whole book, and now on here and eating chocolate. Am waiting for tax truck to hit me I think but i feel fine at the moment. Long may it last :-)))

Had a lovely weekend in Cumbria - lovely cottage 7 miles from Carlisle in the Eden Valley. Good time spent with my big sis and her OH - hadnāt seen them since I started chemo. So nice to have a change of scene and they did all the driving and so I could happily snooze in the back!
Bother! Wonāt be able to make the 27th - if Iām well enough Iāll be at work. Iāll have to volunteer to organise the next one while Iām having my rads if Iām ever going to meet any of you!

Hi ladies, Im back - how is everyone - I am trying to read and catch up - cant believe 2 weeks tomorrow since last tax, been sooooo tired but still rather have tax than fec anytime! Was at hosp today, blood test as ill at weekend, but unrelated just picked up a sickness bug, but saw my onc Dr Al-Terkait in passing so had quick catch up with him, plus today another tick off list as had planning meetinf for my rads and the little tiny tatoos on me. all went well and rads strt 25th of this month. all morn appts, do thts good i can plan things around it now!
Hope u all ok have i missed any meet ups - i see one is pending? I had a txt from Rhian at weekend, lovely and encourging, she is fine, hope she can come to next meet up?
I will go and have a read and catch up - think do tired cos when i get energy i overdo it and have been busy studying, working from home and cleaning, i cant stop cleaning, think its in my head, everything all new fresh clean, re organised, like ridding the u know what from my body - dont worry not gone mad quite, just being very positive and upbeat - hey Rachel Harp hope u ok on the tax is so doable as they say but its true!! So glad youāre okay, Shar. Hope you can come on 27th-would be lovely to catch up. Iām finding tax really hard-my bones are so painful I canāt get comfy at all. Also under my nails is really painful. Itās not helping that I have tonsillitis at the same time and feel rubbish with that, although Iām glad my temp is okay so I donāt have to stay in hosp. Rang CDC and they think they may have to reduce the dose as the pain shouldnāt be this bad (and I have a high pain threshold!) Anyway, Iām just willing the next few days away and hoping to pick up soon.

hi all been to see onc nurse today found out reason why i carnāt have a picc line my vainās are too hard , i could go for Hickman line but as i only got 1 epi left donāt see the point cmf isnāt as hard on the vainās and also it mean not having chemo Friday had to have a ecg to check heart as i have been having chest pains but heart is fine so it must be me working myself up which is about right

My computer was dead for a few days as charger plug broke, felt like my right arm was broken without my computer.
Tax 1 canceled yesterday due to abscess on a tooth implant. Canāt wait to get this chemo over and done with, but seem to keep running into delays.
Waiting for results on my needle aspiration yesterday, fingers and toes crossed I donāt have another tumor.
Iām hoping to meet you all on the 27th, depending on my chemo schedule and SE.
Rachel, hope your feeling better today. Diane, glad your little getaway was nice and your almost done with your chemoā¦how are you handling TAX?
Honeybee, sorry you could not get your PICC line, I had mine done in Manchester because they do it with ultra sound and went into my upper arm vein.

Hi everyone- hope u all ok and side effects at bay today, and tht ur veins are kind to u for ur next sesh honeybee. Oh Harp, sorry the tax truck hit u - i too had reduced dose after my first one, do u hve good pain killers - im on paracetamol/co codomal which i had after my op and they def help me. bless u, it will get better - did u put ur nails in ice whilst having treatment and paint them dark? plus keep them moisturised - i moisturise mine quite alot during day and also use the excess almond oil from what i put on my head to rub into my nailsā¦ so, is meet up def 27th? Where is it? I will be at hospt that day having rads as they start on 25th - 23 lots of them, will have to check diary to see what time they are that day, it could be a very early one at 9am - be good to see everyone again and meet anyone new. Yeh the onc is fab if u got same as me, he so helpful and encourgaging and makes all so bespoke tho he sees so many - they are all fab at RSH i must say!
