Is my risk of developing breast cancer again increased

Is my risk of developing breast cancer again increased In dec 2005 I had a mastectomy for High grade DCIS. It was also found at the clinic on Mammogram that I have a fibroadenoma and calcifications in the left breast. My consultant is keeping his eye on this.I take tamoxifen tablets. Just recently My mother has been diagnosed with both lobular and ductal carcinoma in her left breast, she is a frail 80 yrs old does not want any invasive treatment. Her hormone receptive results have proved to be oestrogen positive so luckily she can be treated with tablets.
My worry though is that my gran (mums mother) had breast cancer and also stomach cancer . Gran had 2 sisters and breast cancer is also on their sides.
1 sisters daughter age 80YRS recent mastectomy.
2nd sisters daughters daughter age 40Yrs.
My left breast is an uncomfortable breast and I am aware of subtle changes occuring. ie: rash appearance around the areola- this can be very noticable some days , some dimpling on the underside of my breast when I am examining my breast.
My dilema from finding out the family history is am I at a high risk of this fibroadenoma/calcifications changing into a breast cancer again.
Would I be foolish in contemplating a second mastectomy to prevent disease occurring again, and to help ease the pressure and worry of recurrence that I am undergoing at the moment.
I am due to see my consultant in June and would appreciate advice so that I can put my concerns/options to him.

Family History You may be referred to a genetics clinic that will take your whole family history and calculate your risk based on that. As you have had b.c. they may be willing to do genetic testing on you (it has to be done on someone who has had b.c. in the family first). The genetic test takes up to 6 months, but may give you some assurance or convince you to have a prophylactic mastectomy. (which I am having in August)
Best of luck -
