Hi was just wondering if anyone knows if the vibro plate is safe to use. There is not much on the internet relating to its use and a previous diagosis of breast cancer. It does however claim to help to strengthen bones and improve circultion etc.
I was advised not to use the powerplate (assuming this is the same thing)by a member of staff at the gym. The reason was that they just don’t know whether it could cause problems for us, I guess because these are quite new pieces of equipment.
I would be really interested to hear from anyone else who has had any advice.

Hi Just to say I had a Dr appointment yesterday and asked about the vibro plate. I discussed my concerns which were basically what I had read online such as if there were any cells remaining they could be pushed around by the machine etc. My Gp who has alot of experience with bc said that was tosh (her words) her opinion was it wouldn’t do me any harm she was however sceptical as to whether it would as the leaflet claimed I would lose a dress size. Her parting words were go and have fun!
Hi I joined a gym n got excited about Th power plate but was told no for 5 years as if Thers anything at all it cud spread it around Th body n stimulate. Xx
