Hi,I am cazcards111, I would really like to talk to anyone in the St Helens Mersyside area,I finished all my treatments for breast cancer on Christmas eve 2009 and I am new to this, not sure how to go about it all, but I am sure I will learn as I go on.

Im from st.helens. I was diagnosed end of Feb had my op 4th March and start rads on 5th May.
I live just off prescot road.

hi im from newton le willows diagnosed last sept ive had my chem and mastectomey now waiting to find out about my rads. just had my latest dose of herseptin back at the hospital on friday to find out about my rads

I had my first rad today just 22 to go!!
I was very fortunate to need just rads. If you have got through chemo the rads will be a doddle to you Im sure.
I have only just found this site and feel so much better knowing there are people like me with the same questions and feelings as me.
Good luck at the hospital on Friday, are you going to clatterbridge for your rads?

i have 4wks left on chemo started my 1st one on the 17th march had to have 8 sessions to try and reduce my tummor it was 90mm it is now 20mm so the treatment works for me so far so gudhave surgery in about 8wks time not got appoitment yet sooner the better. i live near sherdley park

I am 6 six years this coming April from diagnoses and live in the Ashton in Makerfield are although I was treated at Whiston Hospital.

where in st helens do u live
I live in the Billinge area and was treated at Christies in Manchester. I finished treatment in August 08. I had a lumpectomy, chemo, rads and Herceptin. I would love to get in touch with someone local.

I live just off prescot road in st.helens. I have just got back from a weeks well earned hol in Menorca yesterday. Been back at work for 7 weeks after my treatment finished. Feeling good. Still get moments of doubts but that is just par for the course I think. How are you?

how are you feeling? are you all set for the op now? where are you looking at for the hols next year? we want to try cuba around may time. this time was just a quick and close one to chill out. it was really good just the two of us.

Hi Elaine, will be thinking of you a week on Thursday. You will be fine Im sure. The ends will justify the means as they say.
I have just been to the breast clinic for my 6 month check up and I have to go for a scan in a week or so. I have another lump in the same boob. It is only small and she didn’t seem too concerned says it may be scar tissue. Im not going to sit and worry again. Life is too short. I will just wait and see. What will be will be. Will let you know how it goes.

Hi Elaine, turned out ok. just scar tissue thank god. We booked a week in Cyprus at the begining of November to celebrate!!
