Had pain in both buttocks for some weeks and then pain started in lower back radiating rouind hip and pelvic area also skin on thigh sensitive to touch or when brushed with clothing.
Pain in back,legs, buttock and shins much worse when in bed.
My GP has referred me for an xray which I will have on Friday.
I know that this could be nothing more than a back problem but I’m panicking and needed to soiund off a bit.

Every pain is a worry isn’t it? Hope all goes well for you. Just to say I have multiple bone mets and no symptoms from any of them. Sounds more like it is muscular.

It is such a worry tina isn’t it. I must say I have had similar symptoms on and off and I do have bone 2ndaries. The type of sensations you are describing are very much nerve type and it could well be you have a problem in your lower spine that might have nothing to do with bc. You don’t give a clue to your age and I know we all hate it when we are told it is degenerative!!! Hopefully the x-ray will show what is going on and some pain meds might be all that is needed.

I am 62 and never thought I’d hear myself saying that I hope this is “age related wear and tear”. This is my first wobble since diagnosis and was a bit shocked at my reaction.
I don’t post often but have come across you both on some of the threads - I think your both amazing!

Results of scan show wear and tear and a bit of disc slippage, quite a relief. Will have some physio and really must stop moving the furniture around.

I am so glad for you that it is ‘just wear & tear’. Hope the pain eases up soon for you - and yes at this sort of age we do have start being a bit more careful when it comes to pushing & pulling heavy things!
