Is this genuine? Hi all,
I’ve just received this email from a friend - does anyone know if this is genuine or a scam? If it’s genuine we need to get clicking !!
Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on “donating a mammogram” for free (pink window in the middle).
This doesn’t cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

it’s genuine —they make money through advertisers who use the site but they are only interested in doing so if people are viewing it
Having said that clicking on it aimlessly ten times a day gets monotonous so I have done the odd stint but no more

I’ve clicked! Lots of things to buy as well - jewelry, free trade stuff etc.
Me too! Seems a very painless (well, not the mammogram, obviously!) way to help people. I have a feeling my children found a similar one for an ecological cause.
US site Correct me if I am wrong but in the UK mammograms are free to the patient anyway - is this not a USA based site where healthcare does cost money?
Not looked yet but I have a feeling that this is the case.

thebreastcancersite Yes, it is American, and there are many women in the US who have no health insurance, so I feel even one click a day is the least I can do to enable them to get help. Haven’t ever got up to 10!
