Two years post op and I have suddenly become very itchy around my scars. There is no reddening or swelling but it’s driving me mad. Anyone else suffering?

Hi judyjay
Having the same problem, I am determined to discover what the cause is. I am three years and two and a half years post op and its driving me crazy.
I will post if I get an answer (or solution).
Keep smiling

P.s Just been googling, Apparently could be circulation. Ice pack or massage seems to help other people. Exercise might be key.

Hi. I had really itching like hot knives 18 months after surgery but it was under armpit and down by initial scar. Spoke to breast care nurse who advise was normal and can occur 6 to 2 years after the surgery. Hope this helps a little
I hope u get an answer mine itch like mad.
I am suffering this also coming up to two years post op! Could the healing be still going on? It drives me mad too you just want to forget about your body occasionally but i have had massive itching. I use a lot of creams and have an oil called ‘emotional strength’. It feels like the muscles are constantly pulling and my other arm died after a chemo injection did the vein in. What can we do? No one cares
