Like you I didnt know what the true colour of my hair was. I am 49 in a few weeks and probably haven’t seen the real colour in its total glory for about 30m years. I said to someone today I am going for the Dame Judy Dench look!!!

I am half way through chemo (just had FEC number 3 out of 6) and have found my hair doing very strange things. It thinned all over and started balding at the crown, so I shaved it all off to a Grade 1 stubble. Since then, the patches on top have got a bit bigger and balder, but the back and sides are still growing intermittently between doses, so have been shaving them every so often to try and even things out!
I expect it will all drop out in the coming weeks, but looking forward to getting a more even covering when all this is over.

How stupid am I? Only a week after last chemo and I peer at my wisps every day. Wisps have grown throughout but nothing new yet, and eyelashes have finally gone all together. Patience clearly needed here. It is great to hear about ther people’s fuzz though, grey or otherwise. Gives me heart! All I want for Christmas…
