Phew…crikey ladies. Im supposed to be working but its taking me 15 mins to catch up on the thread…I even wrote notes so I could remember where we all are.
Starfire…Good lord someone needs to give you a break!!! You need guidance and explanations. If they are saying ok lets just stop then it makes your question how much of this we have needed. Its like dropping my last FEC, dont get me wrong Im thrilled but essentially as T didnt do a thing apart from make my Lady bits bald all I will have had is 3 FEC!!! My painful cancer filled boob has shrunk back to normal size now although the skiin is all weird on it thats after 2 FEC.

As for hair I was pondering last night…mine fell out on first T from my head, Legs and Lady Bits, then started to grow back realy quickly. Eyebrows and lashes where fine.
Now on FEC eyebrows are thinning, lashes fine, Legs no hair, Arms full hair and head thining and growing at the same time!! Ive been cold capping though…although my last session they were all disorganised because of short staff issues and the cold cap got left too long and was so painful I dont know if I can face it for even 1 more seesion!!! The thought of it make me feel sick!!
CT…Are you talking to your friends about whats going on at home? How are you dealing with that emotion too? Worried about you…xxx

Keep looking up Thor’s shorts on the raft when you need to ?, keep focused and break it down into weeks cycles, it will help keep you ???and keep thinking about ringing the bell when you’ve finished, you are all doing amazing lovely ladies be proud of each other because you are all great ??shi xx
Fel ???really great news you’ve been getting through treatments well, that’s fantastic news ??don’t forget the mishy18 tip for when you’ve finished all treatments get the lush shampoo tablet called new, it’s like a big red dot, we are all having great hair regrowth on it, 5 weeks on and I’ve nearly full action man covering now and mishy18 had a pixie going on within 8 weeks. ??shi xx

Shocked I got all sorts done on pre steroids he he…just to say had hard time on fec. Days 3to 4 tax joint and bone pains bloating and Michelin man sore mouth but no nausea which is great! Got out of bed today too! …so Generally not as bad so far for me yet though dont want steroids to stop…

I’ve completely forgot to ask if anyone is having Herceptin as part of their treatment? I am, which I knew all along, and they are starting that today. They’ve also been umming and ahing over whether they can give me another drug, Pertuzumab as they can’t say for sure whether there is cancer in my remaining lymph nodes. My doctor originally said no but I got a call from her yesterday, yes day before treatment, to say yes actually they can offer it. So today I go to have the Herceptin and be monitored then tomorrow back in for T and Pertuzumab. To say I’m nervous is a slight understatement, I’ve been feeling nauseous for the past few days just thinking about the T ?

Amy I’m having herceptin with T , next week I’m just having the T then the next cycle I’m having the herceptin with it. Onc says he didn’t want to bombard my body with the two at first to see how I went on with the T x I don’t think
I’m having the p one as lymph nodes were clear x I see onc on Thursday so I’ll clarify xx good luck everybody ???
Dealdoh Thank you for making me feel normal…I thought when they told me I was dropping a session that all of a sudden the 2 I had left would become easy!!
It just didn’t happen…all my fight seemed to disappear on this cycle!!
At one point I announced if the last 2 FEC have worked so well then maybe I’d ask to skip the third…then had to have a man up word with myself. This journey is definitely getting mentally harder…
And I fell crappy because some of you ladies have huge battles to fight…anyway self pity has been firmly shoved away now thank goodness ?
On an amazing note my beautiful brave daughter just got accepted into Leeds Uni to do midwifery which is her dream and my son who’s living in Barcelona has just announced he’s in love…she’s Swedish and lovely and he looks so happy.

Aww Rosie your kids are doing great ! I’ve a friend whose daughter is in her 3rd year st Leeds doing midwifery. She has loved it. A few jiggles and moans but I’m sure you would get that anywhere. And midwifery is really hard to get into so she’s done great.
I’m dreading tomorrow’s T. District nurse redressed - badly my picc couldn’t get blood out so I ended up refusing to let her prick me and rang my chemo centre who were great and sorted it.
I’ve got cording in my arm from my first EC so I really do t want any more chemo going through a peripheral vein. I was getting myself a bit worked up but it’s sorted now.
How are the girls who have had their t this week doing ?
Hello my lovelies. So I’m on the up again after a crappy week 1 of cycle 4. It always amazes me how this chemo crappiness can send us from the depths of despair to feeling kinda ok… It’s a head spin.
Ladies…if any of you are 40 or under (I’m 37) ask your Onc about the willow foundation. They are a charity who provide ‘special day’s’ for young families in our situation. My Onc gave me a form to complete and send off which has been approved. They are going to pay for me an the fam to go to Centre Parcs for a week!!! They also do breaks to Butlins, city breaks, theatre tickets…pretty much anything!!!
They also have a website, if you Google willow foundation. Get on it ladies…we deserve something to look forward to!!!

So no SE’s so far from the Herceptin, in for T (and Pertuzumab) today, another long day - I’m gonna take magazines and snacks today, I was so hungry by the time I left last night!
Not a good start here. No emended prescribes and no one here today to prescribe it so I’ve just got to get on with it. I suppose I might be lucky and not be sick on tax line I was on EC but it’s really thrown me. Things are always worse when you are sleep deprived !
Shocked good that you haven’t been as nauseous are you on T ?
I don’t want to be here today finding it hard and sent hubby home because he is stressed out with the amount of work he has to do and he had a disturbed on call night last night. That’s me always putting everyone else first while I just take what’s left.
Aliand My onc kept me on antisickness meds on t as a precaution but the general rule is they are not needed for t, so keep ???and see how you get on. And this will be another off for you beautiful keep ???and I’m always up for a ???On the raft if you get bored looking up Thor’s shorts ???shi xx
