Thanks Shi, and Rosie you look beautiful and so happy, so much lovely hair already! Glad you had a fab evening. I agree with Shi, the op was easier than the chemo for me too. Michelle, once you get to half way you can start seeing the finishing line approaching, you’ve got this! Xx
Thanks Paloma, Jamesy, Shi and Aliand. You are very inspiring, it means so much when you hear it from people who have been through it themselves. Enjoy your post Chemo celebrations, of which I’m sure there will be lots! X
What a great pic Rosie, you look really happy and well ?
All the best for the rest of your treatment Michelle. As Aliand says, your April forum group will be a godsend, even when you don’t feel up to being involved they’ll still be there with you along the way, posting their ups and downs ?

Fel you beautiful ???lady, you celebrate finishing chemo please because you have finished what your team decided your course was, the 6 or 8 is just a kind of guideline and they adjust around how our bodies cope just like they do when they reduce the dose, so please don’t think you didn’t finish, you did my darling ???Rosie ?? enjoy this weekend get your bag and bits ready, honestly the drain is the worse bit and as soon as that’s out you will be amazed how fine you feel keep ???it’ll be fine fine fine you might want to arrange your meet up on pm’s by the way, don’t forget these threads are open to the world ??Shi xx

Great to hear from you Rosie. Another part of the journey done ?? Don’t overdo it x
Is there just me left now with one more dose or who is it on weekly ? Are you still going. I’m in my — get the house sorted phase as I didn’t do much last round with only 2 weeks between chemo. But sitting outside with a cup of tea (that I can’t really taste) helps. How I long to taste properly again!
Keep swimming thosexwho are swimming, keep dancing girls on the beach and Rosie you can just watch out for sharks for a bit, give me a shout if you see any. X
Well done Rosie ! Rest up now xxx
Aliand my final one is Thursday , had my date for my Hickman line out , can’t fit me I. Till 5/6 and for some strange reason have started to get a rash off the dressings think my body is saying enough now Karen xxx
I’m also sitting outside just waiting to go and sort out complimentary therapies at hospital xx
Well done Rosie, rest and recuperate :smileyvery-happy: Glad to hear everyone has nearly finished chemo now, hang in there ladies.
I think I have oral thrush as tongue is coated in thick white stuff. Girls, will it clear on its own or do I need to get treatment?
Hi all,
Aliand, I thought yesterday was going to be my last but was told that my onc had prescribed another dose on the 4th of June so I’m going to be having more cycles than originally planned - almost as many as you! I’m a bit disappointed as I went in yesterday thinking that was going to be it, you can imagine how I felt when told there was going to be another one. I didn’t cry tho, maybe because I was on the chemo unit and not at home. I’ve been changed to Abraxane so I’m praying it’s not too harsh if I have to do 2 ?
I feel like I was dropped in the middle of the bloomin’ Atlantic and I’ll never see land again ?♀️
Paloma, it would probably clear up on it’s own eventually but I found it soo gross I got treatment both times (and have more in the cupboard in case I get it again) and it cleared up in a couple of days.
Hi ladies still in hospital having IV antibiotics till tomorrow but all is good with the boobs…physio came in today and said they’re like two adopted children…the first few weeks are the most delicate and I have toolook after them so we bond!!! Loved the analogy…

Jamesy that’s fab, hope you have a great time ?Insurance is good!
Shocked, the flushes are a right pain aren’t they? I use an old fashioned handheld fan at night (a Spanish ladies one not battery). It helps slightly
