Jelly Legs

Ok, so you thought this was going to be about food…well…HA HA, it isn’t.

I have jelly legs, they feel as if they have the flu, and I know they don’t. They can’t seem to carry me anywhere for a long time without having to have a rest. They are very restless and just want to be in a bath of warm water the whole time…not very convienient when they have to help me drive the car.

Noo point to this post really, I just wanted to complain about my legs whilst they slept!

Babyboo you always make me chuckle!!!

I know what you mean about ‘jelly legs’ though! I reckon many of us on here prob suffer with that!!

You’ve made me chuckle again even though am sure is not all laughing matter with the poor old legs of jelly!!

Restless legs are horrid!! Mine are particularly keen to wriggle around when sleeping, usually when am letting the kittens sleep on the bed which makes them very cross. Funny how they are all active when you’re trying to sleep but when you try to take them anywhere they object very strongly!!

I’ve been putting lots of lovely moisturiser on mine to make them feel loved and have found rubbing them helps a bit… warm baths v good! Perhaps take a couple of buckets in the car and pop them in at traffic lights!

Ha ha ha, the car has been adapted…there are now two lovely foot warmers in replace of the clutch and brake…won’t be able to drive but at least those pins of mine will be happier! Not sure what the children will say though when I put them in the car to take them to nursery and all we do is sit on the driveway…mmmmmm

You are funny and make us smile. Just wanted to say hi and sending hugs (tight ones to try and still your legs!!)

Hi all, Restless legs are the pits, you just can’t get comfy and can’t sleep - and my cat get proper peed off with all the tossing and turning too! My GP has given me some valium to take at night to releive - he says the restless thing is caused by the muscles becoming excited due to imbalances in the calcium/sodium/potassium/magnesium levels, brought on by the chemo. The valium knocks me out for a bit at least. Worth asking your docs for if it’s stopping you from sleeping.
