My surgery got brought forward a week,you may be offered earlier date if you are happy to go sooner.There is a lot of waiting and a lot of anxious pauses in this process .
Do you start chemo next week Sarah?
My neighbour has twin girls and they both went off to Uni at the same time, she stays at home so I don’t know how she coped! I am very lucky the my two youngest (I have four daughters!) stayed at home and went to the local Uni, luckily there are two universities 20 minutes away to choose from! In the end, they are both at the same Uni as they liked the courses on offer, just three years apart (one is now doing a Masters). I will have plenty of help with the housework when the time comes for my op! x
I have this to face next year, my son is looking at where to apply now.Part of me wants him to go to local Uni,but I know really it would do him good to go away and spread his wings.Its a blooming expensive business now though.

I just hate the waiting between appointments, ops, results. I find it difficult to keep my mind busy. Not long now Jill.

Yes ,patience will help you through this Fiona!!! I just want to get going now with next stage but at same time not looking forward to 3 weeks dominated by cancer every day, however I have got of lightly and I will try not to moan too much!!!Ange is your op Tuesday?
The last 2 weeks have just been full of appointments and it’s exhausting but the weeks are flying by at the moment. If there is any advice ang over the last couple of weeks I have just been collecting as much information and bits and pieces I need so if I can help in anyway. Having a young family must be so hard just try and concentrate on your op for now. Sending you big hugs xxxx

Waiting is definitely the name of the game with this thing.Can you do something nice with the 2 days ?
I have to go to the hospital on Tuesday for an information meeting but could do something on the Monday as long as it doesn’t involve alcoholic sprouts. but your right it’s more about the waiting than anything! Xxxxxx
