Hi all, I’m Wendylois (just to avoid confusion with other Wendys) and was diagnosed in April with triple negative (non-hormonal) bc after finding the lump myself at the end of March. I had a ‘lumpectomy’ mid May (fortunately the lymph nodes were found to be clear), followed by a re-excision in June, and am now clear - hooray! I reckon I’m very lucky to have got off so lightly! I’m starting a short course of chemo at Winchester on Monday 14th June of just four cycles of EC, followed by three weeks of radiotherapy at Southampton. I’d love to hear from anyone else who’s had EC and who can share their experiences with me.
