hi im done with FEC now and starting tax tomorow…so have any of you done it? and is it easier ride then FEC? just taken the steroids ready and have to take some tomorow too. so scared re starting a diff sort of chemo.

Hi Bev. Personally, I found Tax easier than FEC. I had horrible nausea, sickness and indigestion with FEC and didn’t get that with Tax. I had quite bad aches and pains with Tax but for me, that’s preferable to the nausea. Hope your first session goes ok today xx
Good luck Bev , I’m 5 weeks finished and although none of it is great is all doable… I was better on Fec than tax and another lady was better on tax so all different… Hope it goes ok for you I really do … Finish line in sight xxxx
Ho good pleased you can eat and drink , if can drink lots as helps I couldn’t as had thrush but once it cleared up i added a drop of lime squash in the water for s bit of flavour … Watch rubbish TV and rest you can do this … I’m on day 7 of 20 radiotherapy and have s year of herceptin but main treatment is almost done thankfully… Keep thinking every day is a day nearer the end of treatment…xxx
