It’s all been going well. My mum has responded well to the ribociclib. She had some poor side effects at first but they seem to have settled.
I have been doing really well since finishing Kadcyla. My energy levels have been coming back and getting better and better. I’ve just come back from skiing and I’m feeling like I have a whole new lease for life.
I have DIEP flap surgery scheduled on Saturday. I’m worried it will set me back, well obviously it will but I hope I can cope mentally and come back stronger. Been saving up Netflix and iPlayer series to watch. Trying to cook some healthy meals to freeze to help family. I’m most anxious about the impact on the family logistics and strain on everyone it will be looking after me again and not being able to drive.
