I wanted to let you all know of this fabulous group I have come accross. Knitted Knockers UK.
They knit lightweight prostheses for mastectomy patients.
Requests are sent to them via email their dedicated website.
So if you can knit, orhave friends that can why not help a worth cause.
I am expecting my ‘knocker’ in the post soon and I am really looking forward to it as it will be a please change to my regular prosthesis.

Hi raechi,
I too have a knitted knocker. My ‘hospital’ one is consigned to the back of my bra drawer and I chucked most of my bras as for the past year I’ve been wandering around without a bra and no prosthesis as it was so uncomfortable. Since I had my knitted knocker, I’ve fished out my remaining bras and worn it every day. I might ask for a second one so I can wash this one but still have one to wear. Thank you for the link as that is where I first heard of them
