Late 20s and newly diagnosed

Hi everyone! I never thought this would be a forum I’d be posting on… Yesterday I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. I’m 29 years old. I didn’t think this would be something I’d be worrying about at this stage of my life. I have my MRI scheduled for Monday. It will be one of the first steps of treatment. If there’s anyone else going through the same thing and wants to chat/ support each other then that would be great. Although I have a lot of family support. … I’m sick of the cliche phrases already. It would be much more useful to actually speak to people who are going through similar.

Thanks in advance

Hi Kate, I’m sorry you have had to join us especially at your age but sadly it

is becoming more common to see younger and younger ladies diagnosed, we certainly have some 30 somethings amongst us at the moment, if you pop along to go the recently diagnosed thread I have posted above you will get plenty of support and once you know your treatment plan you can join the relevant thread also for the type you will be having Xx Jo
