Hi I’m hoping someone has experience of this. I have lymphedema after my mastectomy last year. I think I would like it reconstructed but am worried about making it worse. Has anyone had ld recon when they have lymphedema also? Any advice greatly received!

Hi Helen yes I had LD reconstruction 2 years ago after having lymphoedema for 1 year. It didn’t make my lymphoedema worse it has remained the same just slight increased swelling following surgery which resolved after a few days. Hope this helps x
