Hi, I am a brca1 carrier, 2 x cancer and have noticed a damp patch on my pyjama top 3 times now, should I get this checked out ?
Yes! Asap! You know your own body. Better safe than sorry and if you’re still not happy push to see someone else. I went to the doc because I was concerned about a rash that was just on one breast and he told me it was probably nothing and just gave me some cream. I actually asked “could it be cancer?” I wish I had insisted on a scan then because a few months later my breast started leaking, I went again and did have a scan which confirmed my suspicion that I had cancer. I’m not having a go at the medics, they are only human and they do their best but even so things can sometimes be missed.
