I’ve been having the same problem. I saw my Oncologist last week and told him, so he gave my boob a good squeeze and made the liquid come out and said oh yes. He said its nothing to worry about but will see me again in 4 months.
I also mentioned it to the Plastic Surgeon as I am due to have reduction in this breast in 2 weeks time, he did exactly the same and said the same!
I’m not on tamoxifen or any hormonals, but have been told by the gynae that “my ovaries have gone to sleep”. I am older than you at 52.
Thanks Peacock, could you get the fluid to come out yourself? No amount of squeezing seems to make any come out, it just does it when it wants to for no reason! Is that how yours is?
Hi lolly
had same thing a couple of years after my first diagnosis and it happened over a few weeks and then stopped, and hasn’t come back since (11 years). The recurrence was in original breast and I haven’t had any further probs with my ‘good’ side.
hope it soon resolves

Thanks so much for your replies. Ive managed to bring forward my june appt with onc to this wed, so see what he has to say. Im so worried in case its back, especially as we are supposed to be taking our 2 young boys to disneyland paris in 3 weeks time.
Well onc tried but he couldnt make it leak either! But he didnt seem worried, as long as i dont get any other symptoms then see him in 6 months. I wish i didnt panic at every little thing!
Thanks for your replies.
Unfortunatley i am bumping up this post, as after 8 months of nothing, the good nipple has started leaking milky fluid for no reason again.
Got routine mammo next month anyway, but just wondering if anyone has any advice? If bc were back, surely it would have continued leaking and not stopped for 8 months? or not…?
I have no experience of this but am posting to let you know I’ve read it, realise you must be v stressed as we sll would be, and hoping someone who knows about this can spot it if it’s bumped up. Big hugs,
