Left breast feels empty, with indents on the side....

Hi ladies,
I have been reading posts most of the morning, looking for someone having a similar story to mine, couldn’t find one. For the last few weeks I have felt like my breast is skrinking, just up from my left nipple feels like it is being pulled inwards if that makes sense. I was in the shower last night and it just doesnt feel right. I was drying in front of the mirror and I saw an indenting but wasnt sure I am imaging it. But i saw it again this morning. Under my left armpit has been feeling tender the last wee while but havent really connected the two until now. I know i am probably worrying myself over nothing and it could be my breasts are changing with age. I am 37, overweight with PCOS so I know it could just be hormonal changes but I know my boobs. Hubby and I have an active sex life and sorry for TMI but my boobs play a huge part. My right breast feels bigger and fuller while my left feels empty. I have phoned the doctors but as usual there are no appointments available until tomorrow morning again. I was just curious if anyone else has had similar and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Just to add my gran died 2 years ago from metastatic cancer, had breast cancer 15 years ago. Was told it was after menopause cancer. Xx

Go to your GP and insist on a 2 week wait referral. It could be nothing but best to get it checked. And without wanting to scare you, if they just scan get them to biopsy the breast too. My most recent cancer made my breast shrink and pucker but because it didn’t show on a scan they missed it for 18 months.

Good luck.

Thank you Sally, I went to the doctors and after her assessment she didnt feel anything wrong, but as I told her, it feels different and its my breast, not hers. I know my own body, she told me to come back in a month x
