Leicester Meet Up

Hiya,

Any one in the Leicester, Leics. area fancy a meet up. I have secondary bone mets, two coures of radio therapy and would love to talk to any-one else with the same diagnosis or, of course, any other secondaries.

I’m in North Northants (Kettering / Corby) but have been known to sneak over the border, especially when Fosse Park or John Lewis is involved!

Hiya Alestra 29,

I live about 20 minutes a way from Fosse Park so, if you feel like a meet up I’m up for it.
Hope you are keeping the "b cancer under control. I have mets in spine(vsrious parts) and pelvis and ribs, femur( after having a hip replacement) and was diagnosed in Sept. so just coming to terms with it all.

I’m free Thursday this week and have my last chemo Friday so next week will be a wash out, but Ok after 10 days.

Hi Laurie,

I could do Thursday this week if you are up to it. I have to see solicitor at 11,oo near Leicester but could do Fosse Park for 12ish, unless that’s too far for you. If not will be thinking about you and hope chemo is working. If not this week we can arrange for after you are human again.

Fosse park around 12 sounds good. M&S cafe or do you think it will be too busy?

I’ve sent you my details in a PM. I can take my hat off so you know it’s me (unless there is suddenly an influx of bald women in M&S LOL!)

Sorry for delay in replying but only just seen your post. Of cours it’s ok to meet -up, Laurie hasn;t been in touch as she has had last chemo and feeling grotty.

As it’s a busy time of year pehaps New Year would be better.
