No - Lesley is still hogging the bed - although she is much better. The Dr’s seems divided about when she comes home, one says tomorrow and the other says not!
I waved to her today, and she looked ok. I am sure she will continue to improve quickly now.
Thank you for all your kind messages of support - oh how I wished I’d had internet access whilst I was in there, bored doesn’t begin to describe it! Was sent home about an hour ago, feeling totally washed out (even though white blood count is almost back to normal today) and intend to just lie on the sofa issuing orders for a few days now. The girls have a great opportunity to earn quite a bit of extra pocket money by helping a LOT more around the house!
Thanks everyone, it’s great to be home. And Celeste, thank you for the book - halfway through it, very good!!
Hi Lesley - just seen that you had posted on another thread so I hoped you had been let out! Bet it feels good to be home. Look after yourself and get as much help as you can bribery/pocket money/any way! I always miss the fresh air even if I’ve only been in hospital for a few hours so I hope the sun shines and you can enjoy being outside, even if you are having to be careful not to burn.
Take care
Nicky x
So sorry to hear that Lesley P is in hospital and hope she escapes soon.
Also glad that Celeste is out again, and sorry I didnt know she had been in.
Obviously haven’t been on the forum for a few days, but loads of cyber hugs to you both, and may we meet up again soon.
I’m off to Corfu for a week on Monday, clutching loads of antibiotics. I seem to have been on them so much. Oh the joys of permanent chemo!
Well it seems that there is a warm bed available in the brand new cancer centre - any more takers?
Glad you are out Lesley - i think you should take a leaf out of our mp’s bolok and just try and claim for everything. Do you have a duck pond by the way?
So glad you’re out and to see you posting again Lesley. Make sure you rest up and take things slowly.Good books and DVDs!
Take care and hope to see you in Bristol again soon,
Love Anne x
