Hello I was started on Letrazole last October (after lumpectomy and before radiotherapy - 5 fractions), so I’ve been on it for 11 months now. I have had Letrazole manufactured by several different companies over that time. I have all the usual common side effects and some of the less common ones and after initially mentally fighting this, I made my peace with it a couple of months ago.
However, over the last 3-4 weeks I have experienced really debilitating fatigue that has left me exhausted after a 20 minute walk and with very low mood. I would say my energy levels have been at about 10% of their usual (post treatment) levels over the last few weeks and it’s really got me down.
I saw a thread on here about different brands of Letrazole causing issues for some people and I wondered if that might be causing my problems. While I’ve been struggling with fatigue the Letrazole I was on was manufactured by Crescent. I started a new box a few days ago ( Sun Pharma) and I’ve started to feel a bit better over the last day or so, which could of course be complete coincidence.
I’ve left a message for my local breast cancer nurse team so I’ll hopefully speak to them this week but wondered if anyone else had experienced extreme fatigue with Crescent Letrazole… Or any other brand.
