Hi. I am 4 days into taking letrazole and have jaw and tooth pain. Also have got several mouth ulcers. Anyone else had these side effects?? Thank you.

I haven’t experienced this problem myself while I was on Letrozole for 15 months, since changed to Exemestane. If it was me it would be something I would flag to my team. Unfortunately being a bank holiday weekend they wouldn’t be available until Tuesday. The BCN nurses may be able to advise on 0808 800 6000 from Tuesday at 9am to 4pm.They may be able to help you quicker but I would still call your team. If it like mine, you leave a message and can wait a few days for a call back.

I did have some mouth ulcers and cracked painful sides of my mouth early on letrozole-I think it was my immune system reacting to the new drug but it settled down quite quickly
