Letrozole and blurred vision

Hi Ladies

Just wondered if there was anyone who has experienced eye problems whilst taking letrozole? I seem to have developed blurred vision in one eye. Been to gp, and it could be an infection but also told to get it checked at opticians. As I get used to one side effect from this drug, then another one appears!

Hello sue
There are a lot of older threads here from ladies with blurred eyesight …just to recap I found the “cipra” brand gave me blurred itchy eyes but I’m on “accord” now and fine.

I found recently I was experiencing my eyes being “cloudy”, I phone my optician explained about being on tamoxifen, he asked how long I had been on it, to which I said 6 months, he did say that it was very likely to due to that and what had happened is that the water in my eyes had gone a little more “oily” but that it was nothing to worry about, he made an appointment for me to come in and after examining me was not concernd, although I did need a new prescription in one eye

Hi.
I started with blurred vision in one eye a few weeks after starting on letrozole. Had my eyes checked and my vision has changed and dry eye. Spoke to my oncologist and he thinks I might have a condition that causes dry eyes mouth and nose. I can’t remember the name. The Dr prescribed eye drops but haven’t helped much.
