Hi,
I hope someone replies to your question as I have just started taking Letrozole.
I already suffer with stomach pains, diagnosed as IBS but they have got worse over the years, so am not looking forward to any additional discomfort.
Hope someone can offer some advice.
Best wishes
Sue
Oh Suzannah. Sue I did get a message from the online nurse who said that stomach Cramps that are this severe are not a side effect of Letrozole. However, 5 days on I still have the pains. I have been making frequent visits to the bathroom and the pain eases for a while but then the whole cycle starts again. I have been awake on and off all night and now feeling exhausted. I have my radiotherapy planning meeting at 10 today and am going to try and get hold of my BC nurse as this must be the Letrozole. Will let you know what B C nurse says. Chris x
Hi I’m also experiencing low abdominal cramps in the morning which take my breath away when they occur. I’ve been on Letrozole for about 6 weeks. Weirdly when I go the toilet, the pain stops. I’ve never had any problems like this and it seems rather coincidental that since beginning letrozole such problems have started.
