Dear @Furbit , I am sorry you are going through a stressful time.
Would it help to speak to one of our breast care nurses? Our freephone helpline on 0808 800 6000 is closed today, but reopens on Wednesday from 9am-4pm. You can speak to our nurses about whatever is on your mind, for however long you need to.
Sending all our love
Bernard
I am with you. I have been on Letrozole for 4 years now and am recommended to take it another year. Every day I contemplate stopping because the side effects are becoming unbearable. Insomnia, depression, weight gain, fatigue. Etc. at some point is it really living? I’ve tried every methodology for managing side effects - acupuncture, exercise, diet, cbt, Chinese medicine, meditation, yoga, other meds (they all have their own side effects), etc and nothing helps. I don’t know if these side effects will go away when I stop. But we have to make our own decisions about what kind of life we want to live. Don’t be afraid to question your doctor and your treatment plan and decide what’s right for you.
Hi, been on Letrozole for nearly a year now, joint pain, sweats and generally no energy at times. Still waiting on Dexa scan, could be another hear due to machine breaking down and no staff, concerned about osteoporosis, would love to stop taking it but frightened not to (miss my HRT) felt great on it
